Katharina Henriquez
Katharina Henriquez got her first violin lessons at the age of 9, with 16 she started to study at the University of music and performing arts in Vienna, first in the class of Michael Frischenschlager, later with Ulrike Danhofer, 2010 she finished her second diploma with distinction.
Throughout her studies at the University she discovered her love for chamber music and specialised in the subject, she studied with Peter Matzka and Marialena Fernandes. Additional she attended masterclasses in both soloist repertoire and chamber music with Zakhar Bron, Anton Sorokov, Evgenia Epstein (The Aviv String Quartet), Peter Schuhmayer (Artis Quartett) and Rudolf Haken.
concerts as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra player in Japan, China, Indonesia, Germany, Spain, Scottland, France, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Romania, USA, Mexico and Lebanon, playing in famous halls and festivals like Musikverein Wien, Al bustan festival in Lebanon, Musiktage Mondsee as well as the Zeller Sommerkonzerte.
Since 2016 she is the second violinist of the Alliance Quartett.
